I don’t have any really good or close up photos of Adam’s Pixar blanket yet, but here are the photos I promised:
Instead of batting and backing, I used fleece for the backing with Adam’s favorite character on it. However, this also means that the minute it gets used for tug-of-war, since fleece is knit and stretchy, it’ll pop all the quilting stitches. Oh well, it’s cute anyway!
I picked up Danny from the airport last night. It felt weird to be at the airport and not have luggage of my own! I think that’s the first time in over 10 years that I’ve been inside Seatac airport and not been the one flying. Seeing college friends again really made the desire to get out of here for a weekend or so even worse – to go on a weekend or so vacation with friends, without any parental units along for the ride! It’s been over a year since I’ve really done that, and I’m getting cabin fever.
Forecast is looking promising for going skydiving on Saturday – Eek! I’m nervous about it. We won’t be doing any mid-jump pictures from the air that I’m aware of, but there will be photos of ground stuff, and possibly pictures of the jump from the ground, if we’re able to go.
