It ended up a little big for me, and a very snug fit for Destin. After he gets himself a buckle, I’ll be making him a bright orange one. Click on the pictures to view them larger. It’s a pretty blue, but the lighting doesn’t really do the colors justice for my photos 🙂
As I posted yesterday, I had plans to make a quick-release paracord bracelet using directions I found at ITS Tactical and today I got it completed! The video tutorial was extremely handy, since it matters which direction you thread the paracord through the loops you make. It ended up a little large for me, as I over-estimated the “extra room” needed for the bulk of the bracelet. I also was having trouble keeping it really snug the whole time I was braiding it, so I went back at the end and tightened everything up. I used a 5/8″ curved buckle and blue speckled paracord I bought at Sportco. The finished length including buckles was around 9″, and it ended up using 8 to 9 feet of paracord. I’d be able to use more paracord if I had bigger wrists!
