Thanks to a free pattern in her blog, I’ve made a small fleet of Diana’s (MyGurumi) Santa ornaments! Of course, this creates the slight problem that I’ve used up most of my yarn that I bought for her Klara crochet along, but that’s what the internet is for!
I’ve also been working on two snowman ornaments from Diana’s “advent calendar” last year, and I want to try the tree ornament from last year as well! Then I need to order more yarn so I can make Klara, and I’ve been working on one or two projects as well, that I won’t be able to post here until after Christmas 😉
I also knitted a beanie for Destin, with size 4 needles and sock yarn – tiny stitches, but I love that look better than chunky yarn, especially for men’s hats. Since it’s also been very cold out lately, I got a yard of cotton ribbing fabric at JoAnn’s, and lined the hat using a tutorial I found online. I haven’t gotten any photos of him modelling it yet, but it turned out nice, as well as toasty warm.
Batch one of truffles are also complete as of last night – I’m hoping to do a second batch soon in peppermint flavor!
Pics will come later!
So many projects, so little time!
