Some of the links out from this site are affiliate links. If it’s a link to Amazon.com, you can pretty much guarantee that it is an affiliate link. If you follow an affiliate link to a company or product and then end up buying something, I get a small percentage (read: a few pennies) of the sale for referring you. It doesn’t cost you anything extra, and helps a little with the cost of keeping this blog online.
So far, the only company that I am an “affiliate” of is Amazon.com. They sell everything, usually at the best prices I can find, and I’m a huge fan. Affiliate links from Amazon are tagged with a special code that lets them know that you were directed to them through my website. If you go on to buy something (almost anything, not just stuff I recommend) from Amazon after clicking through an affiliate link from my blog, a small percentage (5-7%) of the cost of whatever you buy will go to support this blog and and possibly whatever my current addiction/obsession is (gardening, technology, crafting/sewing, aquarium, etc) at no additional cost to you. I will keep this updated should I become an affiliate of any other company.

I only link to products that I’ve got personal experience with, like, and use. None of the products I link to have been provided to me at a reduced (or free) rate in exchange for mentioning them on my blog. I’m not that popular! All products that I link to were originally purchased with my own money, or given to me as gifts by friends/family for birthdays/holidays. I will not recommend products that I don’t have experience with or do not like, and should I ever reach the level of readership where companies do reach out to me and provide me with goods/services at a reduced or free rate, that will be made obvious in the post that I write about them. Any opinions I express will be solely my own. It will also be obvious if I’m promoting my own products… I like showing off things I’ve made, and I like to make it obvious who made them!
And even reduced/free goods will not be advertised on this website if it’s not a product I believe in… my blog posts are not for sale.
